NEGATIVE DEGREE plays in-your-face, 80’s hardcore reminiscent of DC, Boston or Detroit bands. Seven tracks combining DC melodic line, Boston anger and Detroit hatred. No metal, no ska, no emo, just pure energy à la early Dischord or Touch and Go. A near-garage primitive guitar sound mixed with Neg. Approach/FX vocals.
This is the 7” version of their fantastic demo that came out this year featuring members of GUNS N’ ROSA PARKS, THE CITY IS THE TOWER, and STILL LEFT STANDING.
300 copies made, 50 of them coming in a mailorder-only, special edition.
