Thursday have announced plans to tour with Death by Stereo and Year of the Rabbit in order to promote their new album War All the Time, and while few specific dates have been announced yet the band has announced the tour will start September 8th in San Francisco and will take them to New York in time to mark the release of the new album only 8 days later. Sinon Year of the rabbit (le groupe avec lequel tournent Thursday et Death By Stereo), c bizarre, genre power pop-emo, pas trop mal si on se fie au son sur leur site, ça m’a fait penser un peu a sense field.
Mais c bizarre de faire tourner ces 3 groupes ensemble je trouve, enfin c bien c hétéroclyte (et l’hiver éclate) remarque. C juste que je vois pas bien le rapport entre les 3 groupes, le style est différent, c pas le même label ou la même maison de disque…étrange.
Oui, logique, si on touche plusieurs publics pour un même concert c moins risqué c évident et on fait forcément + de monde, enfin encore faut-il que chaque groupe soit assez connu dans son style pour rameuter une bonne partie de son public respectif.
Enfin j’imagine le mélange du public branchouille-indé pour Year of the rabbits, emo pour thursday et punk-métal pour DBS…pas mal !!
