Les fabuleux P.O. Box cherchent des dates pour leur tournée estivale :

Nous faisons parti d’un groupe de ska-rock festif-bretzel
de Nancy (POBOX), et je me permets de vous contacter car
nous réalisons une tournée cet été durant le mois de
juillet et nous cherchons a compléter efficacement notre
itinéraire. Nous passons par votre région vers le 13-14-15 juillet (grosso modo) et nous
serions très intéressé pour venir faire la fête (et du bruit) chez vous… Nous espérons
avoir des nouvelles de votre part le plus vite possible
afin que nous vous envoyions le matériel promotionnel
nécessaire à notre programmation. Aussi, nous comptons sur
vous pour nous répondre aussi vite qu’il se peut afin de
booker notre calendrier le plus facilement possible.

Nous avons à notre actif plus d’une 60aine de concerts (ça change chaque semaine…)
naviguant entre l’Allemagne, le Luxembourg, la Belgique et
la France évidemment.Nous avons fait les premières parties
de groupe comme Burning Heads, Superbus, les Caméléons,
Flying Donuts, Second Rate, Shandon (italie), FIVE DAYS OFF
(Belgique), Against Time (hollande), 46 Itchy (uk)
Nous avons sortie en autoproduction une démo six titres
écoulées à 1 000 exemplaires aujourd’hui.
Un album studio est envisagé pour cette année.
Nous apparaissons sur 5 compilations différentes et dans de
nombreux fanzines.

Dear,

My name is Alex and i write you because we are in dire need of your
help. My French friends of P.O.Box are looking to organise their
European tour this July 2003.

P.O.Box is an 8-pieces skapunk band that has a very strong socially
engaged aspect to their music.
They’ve done more or less 100 gigs in europe (france, belgium,
germany, luxembourg, the netherlands…), and toured belgium last
summer.
They’ve recored a first cd, that has been sold at more than 1.200
copies, and they have played with bands the like as Burning Heads
(F), Shandon (It), Second Rate (F), SuperBus (F), Five Days Off (B),
Against Time (Nl), Belvedere (Can), Hangin’Out (B), Madskat (B)…

The tourbooking process is still in its early stages so a lot of
dates are still available (see below). We would be extremely pleased
if you could spread the news, book us a show or assist in any other
which way like giving other contacts and such. Your efforts are
deeply appreciated.

If you are interested in booking a show, we can provide you with a
presskit (biography, stageplan, demo recordings,…) that will be
sent out shortly after you have provided us with a mail adress.
The general recompensation for booking the band for a show in your
area would be 200 euros, but the price is highly negotiable
depending on the situation.

The band will bring its own backline, and it would be deeply
appreciated if you could provide the band and its entourage with
food (veggie and non-veggie) the night of the show as well as a
decent place to sleep.

The dates we are talking about for your region are:
29-30 June
1-2-6-7-8-9-13-14-15-16-17-19 July

We leave it up to the organisation to freely choose the other bands
on the bill but on behalf of the band i can say that we will not
tolerate any racist, homophobic, sexist or in any other way
intolerant club or band. The band will execute their right not to
play if any such conditions would take place during a show on the
tour.

of demo recordings from their upcoming split with the Belgians of
Madskat.

If you know other concert managers/people/contacts that might be
able to help us booking this tour, don’t hesitate to send me their
